Doctor's Appt

Maddie had a great 2 year old well baby visit. Dr. Seymore said she is right on target with kids her age group or just a tad bit behind. Head size is at 90th percentile (that is OK) and her height & weight are in 25th and 50th percentile respectively. She was able to recognize pictures of animals and said her numbers. Would not say her ABC's although she knows them all.

The only thing Maddie did not meet was her ability to jump or kick a ball.....but when Dr. Seymore asked me if she could kick the ball Maddie said "kick the ball", then lifted her foot and swung it forward. Apparently she CAN kick a ball! Abby is starting soccer again this year so Maddie can take her Minnie Mouse soccer ball out to fields to practice her kicking.

Dr. Bui had adjusted the shunt pressure at Maddie's last visit and it really seems she has blossomed since then. The ventricles were too small so Dr. Bui adjusted shunt pressure to decrease the flow.

Off to Gulf Shores this evening...bringing board games as it appears there is a storm brewing and we mght be stuck in the condo. But hope not....
