Maddie is adjusting well to big girl school, her tests came back yesterday and she got 2 A's! Handwriting is proving to be a problem so we will need to start practicing this daily. Her vision may be the culprit so we will have to discuss with her Neurosurgeon. Her vision is 20/20 but she does not comfortably look you in the eye, prefers to use her peripheral vision. If that is all we have to worry about I am happy.....she is adjusting so well and really seems to have very few problems due to the hydrocephalus.
Abby is also doing well, her desk and cubbie were neat and organized, homework completed timely, and grades have been fine. Hoping her focus and interest level remain at a high level. We are moving into the age where there are many "changes" and I am already seeing some come about. Friendships are changing much to her dismay, she has more responsibility due to extracurricular activities, and school work is getting more challenging. As always, I think she will do fine and I am a worry wart.
