The girls and I headed over to Granny's house to do a little gardening. While Abby sucked up on the A/C and played her iPad, the rest of us played in the garden and planted some of Granny's plants. Maddie kept Granny and I in-line and focused on the task while sweat poured down our backs and our brows. She was really a big help and enjoyed working in the dirt. She got to hold some tiny frogs and a stick bug.
In case you not aware my mom has moved back to LA (yeah!). She is residing in Pearl River, LA which is only 15 minutes away from our house. The girls are glad to have her closer to us and with her fragile health I am glad to have her closer to us as well. She is slowing getting settled into her new home.
Hopefully Isaac does not wash away our gardening (or her trailer/shed)!
