My thoughts about New Years Resolutions are forthcoming. Woke up at 6AM thinking about possible resolutions (I need to have pen and paper at my bedside to jot thoughts down) but at 6:15 I heard the pitter patter of little feet coming toward me and not long after came the older one running down the hall not quite so softly. So all my thoughts, dreams, wishes for 2011 were lost with my two girls jumping and talking in my bed.
So here is my 1st resolution which has been revised based upon the events of this morning:
1. Do NOT come in mommy & daddy's bedroom in the morning when they are asleep unless absolutely necessary. If you must come into our bedroom earlier that 6:30AM you will enter quietly and must lay down and be either very quiet or go back to sleep.
Let's see how long they follow through with resolution #1. I will keep you posted on their progress. And will share my other resolutions later once I remember what they are. But you know, I never stick with a resolution so perhaps I should not even bother.
In seriousness I hope all those who read this blog has a great 2011.
