Maddie's Recent Milestones

1. Maddie is off of the bottle...finally! What were we waiting for? Has been one & a 1/2 weeks and she has asked for it only once. Too easy!
2. Maddie has become much more verbal and communicating better over past two weeks. She seems to be more aware of others and their needs. Today she touched my lip, I said not to touch it as I had a bobo. Maddie asked, "what happened mommy?" Or she asked me "where is Abby & daddy mom?" to which I replied they were in our bedroom watching TV. So she walked over to visit them.
3. Maddie & I were playing in den and she said "poo poo". I asked if she wanted to use the pottie and she said no. Next thing you know she pooped. She has also been pulling her pants down and saying potty or "go pee pee". Looks like we need to start the toilet training again....I have a feeling she is ready and it may be as easy as giving up the bottle!!

Well there is one bad milestone. She does not go to sleep at 8:30ish anymore and enjoys singing nursery rhymes in my bed until crashing about 9:30.... i.e. my bedtime. Right now she is singing Jesus loves me and the days of the week. What a nut Maddie is!
