Well another year at Lake Castle has come to a conclusion. Our brilliant daughter Abigail successfully passed the 2nd Grade.She received the Honor Roll trophy for achieving higher than a 95% on her report card and on the Stanford Achievement Test. She also placed 2nd in Reading and 3rd in Spelling for her class.
On Thursday she was a little worried when she got called to the office....but when they also called Binh, Grace, and Sam (the well behaved kids) she breathed a sigh of relief as it must have been good news. Mr. Butera & Mrs. Echolt presented them with a Medal and 1st Place ribbon! She was 1 out of 4 kids in her class who scored the best on a timed multiplication test.
Abby definitely has Gerald's good genes when it comes to Mathematics. Wonder what she gets from me? According to Abby, my hyperactivity. (geez, thanks mom!)
