My Company Picnic

Another memorable trip to the Audubon Zoo for my company picnic. The weather was fabulous and both girls enjoyed themselves. Abby has been so many times she typically rushes through at lightning speed....there are the elephants, and the monkeys, and so on....are we at monkey hill yet? But now that Maddie is more aware of things I think Abby enjoyed telling her about the animals and showing her around. We eventually ended up at monkey hill where both girls played in the water. Lastly we stopped at the playground and this is where Maddie had the most fun. She was so mobile and climbed up the steps to the slides without hesitation. She was not happy about having to leave the playground. I look forward to the next zoo trip now that Maddie is more aware of her surroundings and her vocabulary more expansive.
